My approach
Those sweet, slow intimate moments captured forever. My newborn sessions are relaxed, intimate and full of connection. As a newborn photographer, I understand the importance of preserving the memories of those first days with your new baby. That's why I take a natural, organic approach to my photography, focusing on capturing the beauty and simplicity of the newborn and the connection between the baby and the parents.
There's something truly magical about in home newborn sessions. These sessions revolve around capturing your life as it is in this very moment. Don't fret over the mess and clutter—I assure you, I won't even notice. Houses are meant to be lived in, not kept spotless. Through these images, I aim to transport you back to this cherished memory—the time when your hands were occupied but your heart was so full.
With my newborn photography, you will have beautiful and timeless images that will be cherished for a lifetime. These images will transport you back to those special moments and help you to relive the emotions of the first days with your new baby. All my clients will have access to my online print gallery, which have amazing colours!! You can order prints and frames for your walls. To access this you just need to press the shopping cart icon inside your gallery. Please ask me if you have any questions accessing this.
What to expect in your session
First off, if you’ve never had a photo or video session before - It’s going to be waaaay easier and more fun than you probably expect! I will direct you and make you feel comfortable. My photos are all about the little moments, less posed shots and more real moments of connection.
Location & Timing
Stay in the comfort of your home and have me come to you. My sessions do not have time limits, as we will be completely guided by your baby and your families needs. There will be time for feeds, nappy changes and snuggles throughout the session. **(excluding the classic package)
You can choose from either an in-home session or an outdoor shoot
For newborn sessions I recommend a morning sessions before 11am, as babies still have some lovely sleep hormones running through their bodies and because of this they are generally more settled in the morning. If your after a newborn outdoor session we can also do 1 hour before sunset so we can take advantage of the golden light.
I have some recommendations on locations but if there is somewhere special to you let me know and we can discuss.
What to wear
I recommend my clients keep it simple with something you feel yourself in. Nothing with big brand names, stripes, large patterns or bright primary colours.
It's best to keep neutral colours- think beige, taupe, gray, cream, brown, and white. or for a pop of colour pastels look nice or you can go earth tones. Think dresses, skirts or knits if that is something that is in the wardrobe. Have a look through my photos for some inspiration.
I do have a dress in my client wardrobe that is available to mother's for maternity, family or newborn sessions. Feel free to chat to me if you have any questions.
Delivery
Generally my turnaround time for photos is about 2-4 weeks.
You will receive an email when your gallery is ready.
The high res images will be delivered online for you to download and you can order prints directly through your gallery. I highly recommend our printing company as the quality is outstanding, the colours are very true to life. You do also have the option to download your images and print through whoever you wish.

Vaccinations
I am fully vaccinated for Whooping Cough. If you would like me to wear a mask inside I don't mind at all.
Payment
$100 deposit is required to lock in your session with final payment to be made 1 day before your session.
I do also accept payment plans so that you can pay off in smaller instalments if you wish.
How do I book & what is the process?
If you are interested in making a booking, kindly reach out to me via email. I will promptly send you an invoice for a $100 deposit. If baby is already here we can organise a date or once your baby arrives please notify me, and we can discuss and finalise a shoot time. If you're after the squishy sleepy newborn photos I recommend for the photos to be scheduled in no later then 2 weeks after birth. I am highly flexible and accommodating, offering availability on weekends, early mornings, and after hours.
Photos you can 'feel'
As a newborn photographer and film maker, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is being able to capture the intimate and fleeting moments of a newborn's early days. Recently, I had the privilege of filming a family's first days with their new baby and the results were truly breathtaking.
The film showcases the new parents Jessie and Mitch washing their baby Lyon in the sink, and features moments of them holding their newborn in their home. These are the types of moments that are so precious and fleeting, and it is an honor to be able to preserve them for the family to cherish for years to come.
As you watch the film, you can see the way the parents' faces light up as they hold their baby and you can hear the little squeaks and sounds Lyon makes. These are the moments that words cannot adequately describe and photographs alone cannot fully capture.
While photographs are great for capturing specific moments, film adds a new dimension to the story and creates a more complete and immersive experience. The film captures the overall atmosphere and emotion of the day, and provides a window into the baby's personality and how they interact with their parents and surroundings.
